So, here is my first painting done in light-shadow realism on a gold-metal leaf panel. This combines a lot of my current techniques, and the effect is really pleasing to me. The gold panel shines through the background, as well as in the details such as the golden curls in the hair and the iris of the eyes! Please see my eBay store for close-ups of this painting!
